Nottingham!

Well, I got back from my psychology course at Nottingham University yesterday!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an amazing and really valuable experience! We had seven lectures on the monday and although they went on until 11:30pm, they were so interesting I was hooked the whole way through!
My favourite lectures were probably the ones on psychosis as the woman giving the lecture- Paige Wilcoxson was dynamic and really knew her topic and the lecture on Freud and dream analysis as it was a hundred times better than I'd have expected!
We also had lectures on gambling and addiction, cyberspace romance, child psychology, NLP, eating disorders and winning a place at university. They were all really interesting and I've been inspired to research futher into the topics after hearing about them.
I particually enjoyed the experience of being at university for a night, with my own room! It made me hungry for universtiy life and it's really encouraged me to work even harder to make sure I get into my university of choice!
My interest in psychology has rocketed since I started studying for my a-levels in september and it keeps on growing and growing. At the moment I'm researching for an essay on the psychology of an authoritarian personality and I'm just enjoying everything to do with the subject and finding it the most interesting subject I've ever studied!
My only regret about the course was that it didn't go on for longer!
